Dentelle is a duo from the french experimental scene Nicolas Armand (aka Terdjman) and Nicolas Birot (aka Paulie Jan).

Often invited to play on the same stages, they developed strong artistic bonds and a sense for violent and instinctive improvisation.

Their music is polarized between saturated torrents of textured sounds and minimalistic approach to ambient and orchestral abstract dreamlands.

Coming from different compositional backgrounds, ranging from Gérard Grisey to Coil, their use of technology and self built or modified instruments is always dedicated to the sake of music, treated as an act of human/machine collaboration towards the narrative process.

This self released tape marks their first album. It consists of a continuous piece composed using studio improvisations fragments recorded in 2017 & 2018.

The album comes on an unmarked tape wrapped in fine white lace.
Strictly limited to 50 copies.
